GTA Sholat Anywhere, I have made to add new animation (sholat or As Salah) for GTA San Andreas. However, the animation like this also able to be used in similar game, like GTA Vice City, which uses the order of bones that fairly not differs from San Andreas.
The first method I use to get animation into the game, originally only replacing some animations files located inside the GTA’s peds.ifp and others ifp files. But now I find a way to add new ifp with Ryosuke GTA Anim Manager. So the GTA original animations still exist. Although, the size of files become more larger.
The movement animation of sholat itself, I create using 3D Studio Max 2009 with Kam Lai scripts. Basically, this is manual work. And can take very long time until completed. Especially for myself who is also busy with other things and do not use tools such as animated motion detectors that used by a lot of companies that works in the 3D film and games industry. So, to make animation until the prayer (sholat) movement similar to the real prayer, I will make it patiently. For perfect results, I think it can reach monthly. But it’s no problem. Yet this is a hobby project during spare time only, not for serious commercial game development.
The fast progress instead, is in the part of making script to enable the emergence of animation that can be done by player and NPC (pedestrians). Sanny Builder, which is the best mission editor for the GTA series, very help for this part. Because its have their own library (CLEO 3). The opcode 0AB0 give the list of virtual key codes that can be used in game. So, I can use almost all the keyboard keys for controlling player to prescribe movement which I want. Without depending on the original GTA key mapping (GTA only have about 20 keys, I think).
This mod take very long time to release, because i need to hear and read any comments and critics about this mod. I really thanks to all of you, to give comments, suggestions and critics about this mod, including from other forums like Kaskus (Indonesia), alb7ri.com (Saudi Arabia), oyunzevki, donanimhaber (Turki) and several other websites.
The final progress until release version :
1. I remove sholat jamaah anywhere (congregational prayer) for good, because GTA SA have a cheat to recruit anyone as gang member, including female peds with indecent clothing. This will make trouble for me, if i release it.
2. Now only player (CJ) who can pray with proper outfits.
3. I remove adzan and sounds in sholat (reciter) because this not stable in game
